About Selectus Motors

Selectus Motors is a UK online car marketplace operated by Ice Clean Works Ltd, trading as Selectus Motors. We provide a platform for verified car dealers to list vehicles and for buyers to find and contact those dealers directly.

By using Selectus Motors — whether as a dealer or a buyer — you agree to these terms.

Dealer terms

Eligibility

To list vehicles on Selectus Motors you must be a legitimate motor trader operating lawfully in the United Kingdom. By registering, you confirm that you are authorised to sell the vehicles you list and that your business complies with all applicable UK laws including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Road Traffic Act 1988, and relevant trading standards requirements.

Listing accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of every listing you publish. All vehicle descriptions, photographs, mileage, condition, service history, and pricing information must be accurate and not misleading. Selectus Motors reserves the right to remove any listing that we reasonably believe is inaccurate, misleading, or in breach of applicable law.

Prohibited listings

• Vehicles with clocked or misrepresented mileage
• Vehicles with outstanding finance not disclosed to buyers
• Stolen vehicles or vehicles with a fraudulent history
• Vehicles not roadworthy and not clearly described as non-runners
• Vehicles you do not have the right to sell

Fees

Listing on Selectus Motors is free at launch. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future. We will give dealers no less than twelve weeks' written notice before any fees take effect, and dealers may exit the platform at any time without penalty before fees begin.

Lead ownership

All buyer enquiries submitted through Selectus Motors are delivered directly to the dealer. Selectus Motors does not intercept, qualify, or monetise dealer leads.

Verification

We may verify your business details using Companies House public data and other available sources. Providing false information during registration is grounds for immediate removal from the platform.

Buyer terms

Selectus Motors is a marketplace. We are not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a dealer. We do not inspect, guarantee, or warrant the condition, title, or fitness for purpose of any vehicle listed on the platform.

When you contact a dealer through Selectus Motors, you are communicating directly with an independent business. All contractual rights and obligations are between you and the dealer. Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to your transaction with the dealer.

Selectus Motors does not require buyers to create an account or pay any fee to browse listings or contact dealers.

Platform rules

You must not use Selectus Motors to:

• Publish false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to scrape or systematically copy listing data
• Interfere with the platform's operation or security
• Use the platform for any purpose that is unlawful under UK law

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account or listing that breaches these rules, without prior notice where we consider it necessary to protect the platform or its users.

Limitation of liability

Selectus Motors provides the platform on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by UK law, we exclude all liability for losses arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on listing information, failed transactions, or platform downtime.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of Selectus Motors are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. Registered dealers will be notified of material changes by email with reasonable notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
